Shirakaba Cardigan

Shirakaba means white birch in Japanese. This cardigan lets us imagine a white birch forest in the mist.
This cardigan is knitted flat from bottom to underarm with increases. Fronts and back are then worked individually after casting on for sleeves. Shoulders are shaped with W&Ts and seamed using Three-Needle Bind-Off method. Lastly cuffs are worked down in round.Double-check stitch counts when picking up sts from an unraveling crochet chain for provisional CO.

- A JP 8 (4.5 mm) 40” / 100 cm circular needle, A pair of JP 8 (4.5 mm) double pointed needles (for shoulder seam), A JP 7 (4.2 mm) 32” / 80 cm circular needle, A set of JP 7 (4.2 mm) double pointed needles (not necessary if Magic-Loop method is used for sleeves), A crochet hook for provisional CO, Or needles required to obtain gauge
