"Kujaku" means peacock. This shawl’s colors, green and blue let us imagine a bird living in the nature strongly and beautifully.

The shawl begins at the center and is worked outwards to the border. There are two Kfb increases in every row which create a long banana-like shape. The shawl body isworked in garter stitch and finished with contrasting color slip-stitch stripes. The two-color cabled border is worked sideways at the end and attached to the body bymeans of simple decreases and slipped stitches. The sample shawl is worked in three contrasting colors but would look equally beautiful when knit in just one.
